Isn't this girl just stunning? She's one of my dear friends, and when I told her that I wanted to build my portfolio to include bridal portraits she was more than happy to put her wedding dress back on and play dress up/model with me:). BTW, she is SUCH a natural behind the camera. So sweet and calm and beautiful. When I get behind the camera I just get super weird and freeze up!
Sarah never had bridal portraits done (neither did i.. so if anyone out there wants ME to put MY dress back on I'd be happy to!!!) so it was really fun to give her some beautiful photos she can have for years to come.
I love how every one of these photos turned out. I just can't stop looking at them.. and I am so excited to already have some weddings on the books this year! I'm willing to travel, so if you guys know anyone in the market for an awesome wedding photographer... hint hint!! You know where to reach me.
Also, I can't wait to share some images with you guys from a collaborative effort I've had going on with some local wedding vendors here in Alabama. More on that soon!!

My mom was able to make some last minute arrangements for me to be admitted to Mayo Clinic in Minnesota on Monday morning, so I will be flying out early Sunday. Next week's photography 101 is going to have to be postponed.. but we will pick back up with the aperture basics soon!
I'll covet your prayers and sweet words while I am away, and will try to keep this space updated as much as I can. If you want to know more of what's going on behind the scenes, you can follow me on instagram @megnewsom or on twitter @eatlivemake.

Love you girl, keep taking care of your sweet self.
ReplyDeleteMany hugs and prayers.
