Repainting a Bike Frame

Several weeks ago David's carbon fiber frame cracked, making it pretty unsafe to ride! Thankfully, he noticed the crack while he was stopped on his ride, so he was not hurt.

He has an old frame that he's always used, but wanted to give it a bit of a facelift before he rebuilt it up.

So, you get to learn how he re-painted his frame to give it a new look!

It is SO easy, but a pretty time consumed and attention detailed job. You need to make sure the paint dries in each step before you remove the tape and before you finish everything off with clear coats.

He just used some paint he found at Home Depot. Any spray paint will work for this project.
